PDA Tracking System
The Central Manufacturing Facility and Distribution Center maintains the highest level of communication system available. Each production employee carries a PDA (Portable handheld pc or miniature laptop computer), that is linked with the Central Computer System and updates the job progress in real time. A customer (dealer) can track an order throught the system in real time, live as it happens. No more phone calls and waiting for delivery schedules, just click and check the schedule yourself.

The Docket Number is shown, along with the Job number used in the Production Department. The three status lights (S - Stripping, P - Press and B - Bindery) indicate the parts of the job that are complete. GREEN means completed and RED means to be processed. The Production Status is QUEUE, if it is waiting for the next phase to commence, anything else would indicate that it is running on the equipment as shown. For example if this job was on the press at the time the production computer was polled, it would read ONPRESS. The next phase will commence on the day shown in the On Press column (in this example Monday) and the Press Number column shows the equipment that it is scheduled to run on. The Requested Due Date is the date the order should be shipped. You can click on the docket number to see a more detailed information page.
